Topics:

Papers are welcomed in areas of e-health and broadband communication systems and networks.

1. Efforts for improvement in the Human Resource Development related telemedicine and eHealth in developing nations
Coordinators:
Mr. Amarendra Narayan (APT HQs)
Dr. Yunkap Kwankam (WHO HQs)

Information:
It is recommended that the document shall reflect the APT ICT-HRD agenda, WSIS Tokyo Declaration, Resolution 40 Rev. of WTDC’06 Doha, and/or other UN organizations declaration.

2. Country report from Asia Pacific
Coordinators:
Prof. Leonid Androuchko (ITU)
Prof. Norman Okamura (University of Hawaii)

Information:
Telecommunication technology in islands, poorly served areas, and indigenous communities to support eHealth. It is recommended that the document shall reflect the Resolution 11 Rev. of WTDC’06 Doha.

3. Telecommunications for disaster and emergency medicine
Coordinators:
Prof. A. Z. Malik (Pakistan )

Prof. Sadaki Inokuchi (Japan)

Information:
It is recommended that the document shall reflect the past APT activities, the Resolution 34 Rev. of WTDC’06 Doha, ITU-D SG2 Q14, and /or Q22.

4. Aspects of continuous and self-sustainable operation in the field of telemedicine

Information
It is recommended that the document shall focus on policies, regulations, and/or e-strategies for telecommunication field.
